A few people suggest remedies, performing rituals, or doing mindfulness to get relief from such energies. But what if one of the oldest temples in Bangalore helps you tackle negative emotions with the prasad you offer during puja?

Which Oldest Temple in Bangalore Absorbs Negative Emotions Through Ritual?

As there are different historical temples in Bangalore, which are famous for different jaw-dropping stories. But this time, it is something unique. Even though when I heard it from the priest and locals, I felt a goosebumps and was astonished. There were a lot of questions that popped up in my mind, and all were cleared once I experienced them on my own.

"Shri Bande Mahakali Temple" in Southeast Bangalore has stories that are historical, and still people believe and experience. This ancient temple of Mahakali is well-known for the navratri celebration in which the temple is accessorized beautifully.

The temple hires 3 priests to prepare the prasad. The vibe of the temple and Maa Bandi Mankalamma is vibrant and exciting.

Apart from this, Maa Bandi Mankalamma is offered new and different beautiful sarees and is adorned with traditional jewelry and fresh flowers. That glow on her face is so "wow" you'll fail to take your eyes off her.

Moreover, on Tuesday and Friday, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, the temple is filled with women who gather to recite the Lalita Sahasranama Path. The temple has one large gate with two different partitions for men and women entry.

In addition, the vibe of the Bangalore Ancient Temple is fresh and has a traditional aura. It is also believed and seen that once the wishes of devotees are fulfilled, they offer the goddess silver sword, saree, or nose ring as gifts.

At last, the most incredible and must-know thing about this temple, which I discussed in the intro part is...

The people who experience negative emotions visit Maa Bandi Mankalamma and offer her lemons as offerings. Then, after the pooja, the priest returns the lemon and asks devotees to juice the lemon in a glass of water and consume it after reaching home or place the lemon in their pooja room.

Must-Remember: Once you're planning to visit this temple, make sure to respect the temple's tradition and wear elegant clothes.
